3 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore, all imported
SINGAPORE — Singapore reported three new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday (Nov 15), all of which were imported.
All three had no symptoms and were placed on stay-home notices upon arrival in Singapore, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.
Among the three imported cases, two are Singapore permanent residents who returned from India.
The remaining case, a short-term visit pass holder who arrived from Italy, is an engineer on a work project in Singapore.
There were no new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in Singapore now stands at 58,119.
MOH said that overall, the number of new cases in the community has remained low, with a total of one case in the past week which currently has no links to past infections.
Ten more Covid-19 patients have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities, bringing the total who have fully recovered to 58,029.
There are currently 41 patients who are still in hospital. Most are stable or improving, and none is in the intensive care unit.
Another 21 with mild symptoms, or who are clinically well but still test positive for Covid-19, are isolated at community facilities.
Twenty-eight people have died from complications due to Covid-19 infection.
