4 new Covid-19 infections in Singapore, all imported
SINGAPORE — A 25-year-old American woman who is a special pass holder is among the four new imported cases of Covid-19 here on Friday (Nov 6). Besides these, there were no cases in the community, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.
The woman had a travel history to the United States and was diagnosed on Thursday.
The three other imported cases comprise one work pass holder, one work permit holder and one short-term visit pass holder. They had travel history to France, the Philippines and the United Kingdom.
All four cases had been placed on stay-home notice upon arrival in Singapore, MOH said.
UPDATES ON REMAINING CASES
The total number of infections in Singapore now stands at 58,047.
Of these, 57,959 people have fully recovered and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities, including 10 on Friday.
There are still 36 patients in hospitals and most are in stable condition or improving. No one is in intensive care.
Another 24 patients are isolated and being cared for at community facilities. They have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still tested positive for Covid-19.
Twenty-eight people have died from complications due to Covid-19.
