SINGAPORE — Singapore on Monday (Dec 14) reported five new imported cases of Covid-19. There are no cases in the wider community.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) said that all of the infected people have no symptoms.

The imported cases include four work permit holders — women aged between 27 and 35 — who had arrived from Indonesia and the Philippines.

The remaining case is a 24-year-old short-term visit pass holder from India, who is enrolled at a private school here.

All five imported cases had been placed on stay-home notices upon their arrival in Singapore and were tested for the coronavirus.

Overall, the number of new cases in the community has remained low with no new cases in the past week, MOH said.
