Car found flipped on PIE towards Changi near Tampines Ave 5 exit

SINGAPORE — A car plunged into a drain and was left flipped upright in an accident along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) towards Changi, near the Tampines Ave 5 exit today (Feb 3).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at 10.45am.

A male in his 60s, and a female in her 50s, both Indian, were both conveyed to Changi General Hospital, the SCDF said.

Police said investigations into the accident are ongoing.
