COE prices close mostly higher at end of Dec 8 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mostly higher at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Dec 8).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went up by 3.65 per cent to S$57,010.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums rose from S$79,601 in the previous bidding exercise to S$80,401.

For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices increased by 3.44 per cent to S$45,000.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$9,401, compared to S$9,381 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums went down by 1.16 per cent to S$85,000.
