COE prices rise across all categories at end of Dec 9 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices rose across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Dec 9).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went up by 8.02 per cent to S$40,714.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums increased from S$41,101 in the previous bidding exercise to S$45,012.

For goods vehicles and buses, prices went up by 8.42 per cent to S$32,889.

In the motorcycle category, premiums rose to S$7,670, compared with S$7,300 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums went up by 9.65 per cent to S$45,510.
