COE prices rise across all categories except goods vehicles and buses

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mostly higher at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (April 3).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1600cc & 97kW) or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW went up by 4.11 per cent to S$89,000.

Large cars (above 1600cc or 97kW) or fully electric cars with output over 110kW saw premiums increased from S$96,011 in the previous bidding exercise to S$101,334.

Meanwhile, COE prices for goods vehicles and buses slid by 3.72 per cent to S$67,501.

In the motorcycle category, premiums rose to S$10,000, up from S$9,689 in the previous bidding exercise.

Finally, in the Open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles except motorcycles, premiums went up by 5.37 per cent to S$101,002.

A total of 4,438 bids were received, with a quota of 2,509 COEs available.
