COE prices rise across all categories except goods vehicles and buses

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mostly higher at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (March 20).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW rose 3 per cent from S$83,000 in the last exercise to S$85,489 now.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) or fully electric cars with output over 110kW, premiums edged up just S$1 from S$96,010 to S$96,011.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$9,689 from S$9,400.

In the Open category, which can be used for any type of vehicle except motorcycles, premiums increased by 0.89 per cent to S$95,856.

And for goods vehicles and buses, COE prices dropped 7.26 per cent from S$75,599 to S$70,112.

A total of 4,186 bids were received, with a quota of 2,472 COEs available.
