COE prices rise for all vehicle types except in open category
SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices for small and large cars rebounded higher on Wednesday (June 7), after falling in the previous bidding exercise following a one-off move to boost the COE quota for cars.
Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc and 97kW), or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW, climbed by 6.52 per cent to S$98,001.
Large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), or fully electric cars with output over 110kW, saw premiums rise from S$113,034 in the previous bidding exercise to S$120,702.
Meanwhile, goods vehicles and buses saw COE prices climb by 5.55 per cent to S$81,801.
In the motorcycle category, premiums rose to S$11,001, compared to S$10,602 in the previous bidding exercise.
Finally, in the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles except motorcycles, premiums dropped to S$120,889 from S$125,000.
