Go-Ahead Singapore officially opens Loyang Bus Depot, unveils Bus Capt uniforms

SINGAPORE — Almost 3,000 visitors attended Go-Ahead Singapore’s official opening and community carnival on Sunday (June 19).
The opening of the 8.3ha Loyang Bus Depot was officiated by Guests-of-Honour, Mr Zainal Bin Sapari, Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC and Mr David Brown, Group Chief Executive of The Go-Ahead Group.
“The opening of the Loyang Bus Depot is a major milestone for Go-Ahead in Singapore. Our employees have been hard at work building a team of committed and capable individuals all preparing for the start of operations in the third quarter of the year,” said Mr Brown.
The uniforms for bus captains were also unveiled at the event. Designed in the company’s corporate colours red and yellow, it symbolises “warmth and friendliness” while the diamond lines on the sides symbolise “Go-Ahead Singapore family’s drive to move ahead together with passengers and all other stakeholders”, said the company in a press release.
