SINGPORE — The iconic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station (TPRS) will be open to the public on New Year’s Day, this Friday (Jan 1) from 9am to 6pm.

In a press release today (Dec 29), the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) invited members of the public to take photographs or sketch their impressions of the national monument and deposit these drawings at the former ticketing counter of the station.

These drawings may be displayed at future openings, the statutory board added.

The station has been gazetted as a national monument since 2011 and is open to the public on public holidays.
