SINGAPORE — Singapore celebrated her 55th birthday on Sunday (Aug 9) with a tribute to healthcare workers, who over the past few months have stepped forward in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
A scaled-down ceremonial parade was held at the Padang in the morning with just 150 spectators.
Crowd favourites such as the Red Lions' descent, the mobile column parade and fireworks displays were held in the heartlands this year.
