SINGAPORE — Customers on Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) frequent flyer programme, KrisFlyer, will be able to redeem their air miles for vouchers for travel on sister carriers Scoot and Tigerair from today (April 8).

The electronic vouchers can be purchased to offset airfares, ancillary charges and booking fees for Scoot and Tigerair booked through their respective websites, or pay for selected products offered by the two low-cost carriers, said SIA in a news release.

Vouchers are available in three denominations:

Additionally, KrisFlyer members will have the option to earn miles on Scoot and Tigerair flights later this year, according to the statement.

Currently, KrisFlyer members can earn air miles when they travel on SIA and SilkAir, as well as various partner airlines including members of the Star Alliance network.

Ms Lee Wen Fen, SIA’s Senior Vice President of marketing and planning, said: “These new partnerships will provide our members with even more ways to use their miles across the SIA Group’s portfolio of airlines.”
