Lot One McDonald’s, Lorong Lew Lian coffee shop among places visited by Covid-19 cases while infectious
SINGAPORE — More locations, including a McDonald’s outlet at Lot One Shoppers' Mall and a coffee shop along Lorong Lew Lian, were added to the list of places visited by Covid-19 cases during their infectious period.
On Saturday (July 18), the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a news release that they had gone to::
McDonald’s at Lot One Shoppers’ Mall on July 15 between 12pm and 12.40pm
Food Park coffee shop on Lorong Lew Lian on July 14 between 7.30pm and 9.30pm
NTUC FairPrice supermarket on Jurong Gateway Road on July 14 between 1.30pm and 2pm
Sheng Siong supermarket at 7 Jurong West Avenue 5 on July 14 between 11.40am and 12.20pm
Food Republic food court at Westgate mall on July 14 between 10am and 12pm
Albert Centre on July 14 between 10am and 10.40am
JCube mall on July 8 between 1pm and 1.45pm
Parklane Shopping Mall on July 7 between 12.25pm and 1pm
Mustafa Centre on July 5 between 9.05pm and 9.45pm
Cut-N-Shave barber shop at 46 Desker Road on July 5 between 3.50pm and 5.30pm
All India Supermart at 41 Norris Road on July 5 between 9.25am and 10am
MOH said that those who had been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases would already have been notified.
As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit, it added.
They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.
MOH said that there is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been as the National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.
On Saturday, the ministry reported 202 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore. Of these, seven are cases in the community while eight are imported. The remaining cases are made up of foreign workers staying in dormitories.
