MUJI flagship store opens at Plaza Singapura on July 21

SINGAPORE — Save the date, MUJI fans: The Japanese retail chain will open its first flagship store in Southeast Asia at Plaza Singapura come July 21.
With a store size spanning over 1,896sqm, MUJI at Plaza Singapura will be its largest outlet in Singapore, and home to the third Café & Meal MUJI which can seat 70 diners.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday (July 4), the flagship store will reveal original concepts adapted from MUJI Japan and serve as a community ground for people “to come together, explore design and arts ideas, and experience various learning anchors”.
An open space at the outlet will be dedicated to educational activities such as exhibition, gallery, creative workshops and for hosting talks. There are currently 10 MUJI outlets in Singapore.
MUJI’s flagship store will be located at #01-10 to 17 in Plaza Singapura. Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm daily.
