Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong speaks at the National Day Rally 2021 on Sunday (Aug 29).
SINGAPORE — Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong delivered this year’s National Day Rally speech on Aug 29 at the Mediacorp Campus at 1 Stars Avenue.
He spoke in Malay and Mandarin from 6.45pm to 7.15pm, and in English from 8pm to 9.15pm.
The National Day Rally is widely seen as the most important political speech of the year. This year's speech took on a hybrid format for the first time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Prime Minister Lee said the rally to be held at Mediacorp will have a studio audience and about 2,000 people will join in via Zoom.
