SINGAPORE— Both the People's Action Party and the Singapore Democratic Party have begun their thank-you parades around Bukit Batok on Sunday (May 8) morning.

This is following the by-elections for the single-member ward the day before that saw the PAP's Murali Pillai getting 61.2 per cent of the votes, while his SDP opponent, Dr Chee Soon Juan, received 38.8 per cent of the votes.
