Six people thrown onto road after two trucks collide in Tanah Merah
In videos on social media, the DHL truck could be seen hitting the blue truck from behind at a T-junction.
SINGAPORE — Six people were flung off the back of a truck after it collided with a DHL truck on Thursday (June 27) morning.
The Singapore Police Force said it was alerted to the accident involving the two trucks along Tanah Merah Coast Road towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) at 8am.
The authority added that six people — aged between 31 and 40 — were conscious when they were taken to Changi General Hospital (CGH).
TODAY understands that the six suffered minor injuries.

The impact of the collision caused six people — some in orange attire — to be thrown off the back of the blue truck, which then swerved into a sidewalk.
Police investigations are ongoing.
