SINGAPORE: Customers reported issues with StarHub's broadcast service on Sunday (May 28) during the final weekend of the English Premier League season.

Data on the DownDetector website showed outage reports starting shortly before the 11.30pm kickoff time for the 10 matches, spiking to more than 2,400 reports at about 11.37pm.

Customers shared images of error screens on Twitter and on StarHub's Facebook page. Users also reported that StarHub TV+'s website, set-top box and app were not working at the start of the final round of fixtures, although the services were later restored.

In response to CNA's queries, StarHub said the "service difficulty originated from a satellite transmission issue on several HubPremier Channels".

It added that the Premier+ service was restored before midnight and apologised for the disruption.
