Vasantham and Oli 96.8FM to raise funds for Chennai flood victims

SINGAPORE – You can do your part for those affected by the flood in Chennai by helping in MediaCorp Vasantham and Oli 96.8FM’s fundraising efforts.

The TV channel and radio station have partnered the Little India Shopkeepers and Heritage Association (LISHA) as well as the Singapore Red Cross Society in a donation drive.

LISHA has set up a booth containing a donation box along the pedestrian walkway outside the Little India Arcade on Serangoon Road. The booth is open from now until Dec 30, from 10am to 8pm daily.

You can make either a cash or cheque donation. Cheques are to be made payable to Singapore Red Cross Society.

This initiative is also supported by Hindu Endowments Board (HEB), Narpani Pearavai, Indian Restaurant Association Singapore (IRAS), National University of Singapore Tamil Language Society (NUSTLS), as well as other Indian organisations.
