More than 600 forfeited luxury goods are going under the hammer, including fine jewellery, designer handbags and accessories linked to Singapore’s largest money laundering case.
Among the eye-catching pieces is a pink enamel clutch shaped like a serpent’s head, part of the haul now open for online bidding.
A 15.02-carat yellow diamond ring is estimated at S$200,000 to S$300,000. As of Thursday evening, its highest bid stood at S$190,000.
A limited-edition Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusama leather pumpkin bag has already drawn a S$39,000 bid – well above its S$12,000 to S$16,000 estimate.
This rare Hermes Kelly bracelet, featuring 30 carats across 263 diamonds, is valued at S$150,000 to S$200,000. Its highest bid stood at S$80,000 on Thursday.
Interest has been strong, with nearly all of the roughly 75 daily viewing slots from Monday to Saturday booked. The items are kept at Le Freeport, a high-security storage facility in Changi.
