Meet Sophia Yeow, a private dining chef and an avid collector of exquisite tea sets
Akin to a mini museum, Yeow built a gallery to house her vast collection of antiques including old radios, Peranakan beaded shoes and tea sets.
“I collect all kinds of tea pot sets,” shared Yeow. “I collect them from England, different parts of Europe, predominantly Germany, and right down to Russia, even to Japan.”
One of her prized collections is a Japanese heirloom tea set from the 1940s.
Her collection includes Lady Daintee teapots by Sadler, crafted to resemble a Victorian-era lady dressed in an elaborate, ruffled gown.
She treasures her Peranakan teapots and teacups as well, adorned with vivid floral patterns.
