Student kills nine, wounds 13 in Türkiye's second school shooting in two days
Emergency vehicles gathered outside a school in Türkiye on Wednesday (Apr 15), after an eighth‑grade student opened fire, leaving nine dead and 13 wounded.
Authorities say the attacker entered classrooms with multiple firearms believed to belong to his father, shooting at random.
The suspected shooter, son of a former police officer, died during the incident.
The incident follows another school shooting a day earlier in Sanliurfa province, where a former student wounded 16 before killing himself.
