‘I’m like a celebrity around here’: The 23-year-old power washing artist turning walkways into street art
“What I do is a form of reverse graffiti ... like if you were to draw an image on a dirty windshield.”
Marcus creates designs on the walkway opposite his home in Marine Parade, much to the amusement of his neighbours.
Over time, Marcus developed his own style. His proudest creation to date is a laughing Batman.
Marcus collects rainwater and uses it with his pressure washer to create his designs.
An artwork is usually first drafted on his iPad.
He then sketches it on the surface of the walkway using chalk before power washing the outline.
