12,000 BTO flats with wait times of under three years to be launched from 2025 to 2027
About 12,000 new flats with shorter waiting times of under three years will be launched from 2025 to 2027. That's more than the total number of such flats launched over the past five years. National Development Minister Desmond Lee announced this during an engagement session with students. The Deferred Income Assessment scheme will also be expanded to young couples where one party is a full-time student or National Serviceman. They can have their incomes assessed closer to key collection, instead of at application, which means they can get a higher loan amount. Claudia Lim reports.
