14 projects receive S$22m in grants to bolster coastal protection, flood management in Singapore

An autonomous underwater vehicle is one of 14 projects that will receive a total of S$22 million in new grants to bolster Singapore's coastal protection and flood management. The robot can monitor coastal structures and use artificial intelligence to link data to provide a comprehensive evaluation. The Sustainability and the Environment Ministry said it will continue to develop new tech to protect the country's coasts from rising sea levels. Eugene Chow reports.
