22 new deals inked at 16th Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council meeting

Singapore and Guangdong are looking to deepen ties and build upon a partnership that has spanned nearly four decades. 22 new deals were inked at the 16th Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council meeting, in areas such as the digital economy, healthcare and biomedicine, with companies looking beyond home markets for new opportunities. In the first half of 2026 alone, bilateral trade between Singapore and Guangdong hit more than US$15 billion. Guangdong has been Singapore's top provincial trading partner for 37 years.
