Alvin Tan on environmental impact of bus depot construction near Sungei Serangoon
A bus depot in the Sungei Serangoon area will be built on a brownfield site comprising non-native vegetation and is not near any sensitive nature areas. As the potential impact on sensitive habitats was deemed to be limited, an environmental study was not required. Minister of State for National Development Alvin Tan said this in reply to an MP’s questions in parliament on Thursday (Nov 6).
