Singaporean Malone Lam is back in US court for a status hearing. He is accused of leading a crime ring that's behind a case of fraud amounting to around US$260 million. According to prosecutors, Lam was the ringleader of a network that saw them posing as employees of Google and Yahoo — allegedly duping seven victims into revealing passwords and other sensitive information to gain access to their cryptocurrency accounts.
