Tropical storm Senyar has unleashed heavy rains across Malaysia, forcing thousands of residents to flee the floods. Its intensity has eased as it moves across the peninsular, with the meteorological department downgrading Senyar to a tropical depression. Authorities have urged residents in flood-prone areas to be on the high alert as heavy rain is expected to last until this weekend.
