Football Association of Singapore pledges full support to new Lions head coach Gavin Lee
The Football Association of Singapore said there will be no knee-jerk reaction on the future of newly appointed head coach Gavin Lee, even if results do not go his way. The association also promised the 35-year-old that he will get all the support he wants to ensure the Lions are competitive at the 2027 Asian Cup. Investments are underway to strengthen Singapore football and prepare the Lions. At Jalan Besar Stadium, the entire pitch has been converted from artificial turf to natural grass, giving players conditions closer to top-level competition. Aslam Shah reports.
