Baey Yam Keng on lift installation at pedestrian overhead bridges
For the retrofitting of lifts at pedestrian overhead bridges, the Land Transport Authority prioritises locations which benefit large numbers of seniors and commuters with mobility challenges, and which are near public transport nodes and healthcare institutions. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Transport Baey Yam Keng said this in reply to an MP’s question in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 1).
