Budget 2024 debate: Chong Kee Hiong on rising costs and national food security
Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) need the Government’s support for funding and collaboration, said MP Chong Kee Hiong. In Parliament on Tuesday (Feb 27), he said it is not easy for SMEs to incorporate artificial intelligence development into their enterprises on their own. He added that it has also become more urgent for them to source for more business and revenue overseas. On national food security, Mr Chong urged the Government to boost demand from local consumers.
