Budget 2026 debate: Haresh Singaraju on tracking policy outcomes across domains
Policy outcomes should be tracked across domains for proper assessment, insights and planning, said NMP Haresh Singaraju in parliament on Wednesday (Feb 25). He cited ComLink+ as the closest model to what he was suggesting, but noted that it is programme-specific and population-limited. Dr Haresh called for a routine government infrastructure to be built, sitting in the Prime Minister’s Office, in the Strategy Group - the only body with convening authority across domains. He asked the Strategy Group to publish a single integrated well-being report for two cohorts as a start - Healthier SG enrollees aged 65 and above and middle-income families with children under six.
