Caleb Lee, 20, first local para table tennis paddler to play in Singapore Smash

For the first time, a Singaporean para-athlete is playing in the ongoing Singapore Smash — the first of four World Table Tennis Grand Smash events in 2025. Organisers said this highlights the sport's and the country's commitment to inclusivity, in line with goals set out in Singapore's Disability Sports Master Plan. 20-year-old Caleb Lee, who is also a former Asian Youth Para Games silver medalist, said he is excited to be given the chance to show the world what he has to offer.
