Chinese e-commerce giant Shein is firing back at France, accusing it of launching a ‘crusade’ against the company. This came out in a court hearing over whether Shein should face a temporary suspension for listing illegal items, including childlike sex dolls. Lawyers for the French side have stepped away from their earlier push for a full three-month suspension. But they are insisting that Shein put stronger safeguards in place to make sure every product meets French law. Ross Cullen reports from Paris.
