Citizens, PRs who abuse drug-laced vapes overseas can be dealt with in Singapore
The authorities have warned that Singaporeans and permanent residents who abuse drug-laced vapes, such as Kpods, overseas can still be dealt with in Singapore. The Home Affairs Ministry said this includes the use of etomidate, a substance that has been listed as a Class C drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act. In a lengthy discussion around vape enforcement in Parliament, more than a dozen MPs sought clarifications with the Home Affairs and Health Ministries. Questions ranged from border control measures to the promotion of vapes on social media apps. Alif Amsyar reports.
