Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 1: Louis Ng on childcare sick leave

Make childcare sick leave the norm, provided on a per-child basis, urged MP Louis Ng in Parliament on Friday (Feb 26). He pointed out that this is already being done in the Public Service. Mr Ng said childcare sick leave is critical to those who have to juggle work and parenthood, and such a move could help to improve Singapore’s “dismal” total fertility rate.
