Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 2: Nadia Ahmad Samdin on making legal aid more accessible

Access to justice is not something people think about until they are in need of a just and timely legal outcome. Often, when the need strikes, they are at a loss, said MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1). She asked for the Ministry of Law's plans to make legal aid more accessible to people from all walks of life. She also suggested simplifying the process for family members to deal with the estate of a deceased Singaporean.
