There are some jobs that Singaporeans are just not interested in, said MP Cheng Li Hui. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2), she pointed out that many still shun jobs in sectors such as marine offshore, maritime and manufacturing. She suggested that the Government give businesses more "latitude" in the issuance of the S Pass and Employment Pass for foreigners, so that businesses which are unable to attract Singaporeans can still keep going.
