Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 5: Cheryl Chan on municipal services, OneService app

Recounting the overgrowth seen in housing estates when municipal services were halted during the circuit breaker period last year, MP Cheryl Chan in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4) asked about the extent to which the delivery of these services was affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. She applauded the OneService app and the use of technology to improve the efficacy of processes, and asked if there were more tech-enabled services residents could look forward to. She also asked if OneService could be used as a platform to connect the community and to pull together resources for social support.
