Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 5: Hoon Hian Teck on supporting work from home

Investment in equipment has been made to support employees working from home but there should also be digital infrastructure investment, NMP Hoon Hian Teck proposed in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4). He suggested creating an office space, akin to a business centre, within Housing and Development Board estates for employees who work from home but do not have an office in their flat. He called for the Ministry of National Development to consider facilitating interconnectivity among innovators in urban redesign.
