"Optionality" and "flexibility" will guide the Government in its long-term planning for Singapore, said Second Minister for National Development Indranee Rajah. Speaking in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4), she said Singapore must not only plan and build for development but also for re-development. Noting that Singaporeans have many needs and hopes for the future, she said long-term planning is key to achieving these objectives and providing a high-quality living environment. She assured Singaporeans that their input will count in the way future plans will be crafted.
