The demand for manpower in the environmental services sector will continue to rise, said MP Lim Wee Kiak in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4). He urged the Government to move faster and channel more resources into efforts to automate the work and processes. He also highlighted the new public hygiene and cleanliness demands stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. He wanted to know how the Government plans to support and help the industry to transform to cope with the new challenges.
