Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 2: Joan Pereira on understanding Singapore's foreign policy

The considerations which drive Singapore's decision-making on foreign policy issues are complex and very often hard to understand or translate into layman terms, said MP Joan Pereira in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 3). She wanted to know what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is doing to deepen Singaporeans' understanding of the country's foreign policy. She also asked how foreign policy issues can be made easy for the man in the street to understand.
