Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 2: Patrick Tay on enforcement of civil judgment
There is a need to simplify and expedite the enforcement mechanism to recover workers' monies after judgments from the courts or the Employment Claims Tribunal, said MP Patrick Tay in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 3). He wanted to know if the Ministry of Law is reviewing the entire civil enforcement process to make enforcement more accessible, economical, expeditious and less painful for workers and the layman.
