Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 2: Sharael Taha on refreshing of Industry Transformation Maps

A lot of resources are being provided by the Ministry of Trade and Industry in this year’s Budget to help businesses transform, said MP Sharael Taha in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 3). He asked how the ministry will ensure that this takes place in line with the Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs) which were supposed to be refreshed by this year. He also wanted to know if the refreshed ITMs will incorporate reskilling and hiring of mature workers and set a clear direction on enhancing sustainability efforts.
