Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 2: Sitoh Yih Pin on automated immigration clearance lanes

The move to allow all travellers to use the automated immigration clearance lanes is a "positive step" that reduces immigration clearance times while reducing manpower strain on the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, said MP Sitoh Yih Pin. Speaking in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 3), he asked how this move will affect immigration clearance time for Singaporeans, and if there will still be a dedicated lane reserved exclusively for Singaporeans.
