With the pervasiveness of digitalisation, digital literacy is as important as reading for access to information and lifelong learning, said MP Jessica Tan in Parliament on Friday (Mar 4). She asked how the Government is leveraging libraries to encourage self-directed learning and interest the public in improving their digital skills. Ms Tan also noted that there are a host of resources and initiatives to help SMEs go digital. She wanted to know how many businesses have used them.
