Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 3: Yeo Wan Ling on promoting flexible work arrangements
Surveys show that nearly 80 per cent of workers in Singapore hope their employers will continue offering flexible work arrangements (FWAs) post-pandemic, said MP Yeo Wan Ling in Parliament on Friday (Mar 4). She wanted to know how employers can be encouraged carry on with FWAs and even expand them in the long run. Ms Yeo noted that potential challenges remain, such as monitoring performance with remote working. She asked how the Ministry of Manpower will ensure that employee appraisals are conducted in a way that is fair to workers.
